I just recently built the Bandai 1/1000 scale Tantive IV (Blockade Runner) model kit. I added 11x yellow 0402 SMD LEDs to the engines and 1x warm white 0402 SMD LED to the control center. Model is completely hand painted, amd no decals were used.

17 model builds have been added to the Star Wars gallery between almost all Episodes. These are kits that have been sitting on the shelf built but never painted, or just quick afternoon builds and paints. None of these builds were done with LED lighting or electronics, except 3 Revell kits which had built in LED lighting already. There are no build videos of these builds.
